Full-time Clerical Specialist       

 

Mercer County Health District seeks a Clerical Specialist. This position performs general clerical tasks including receiving and transferring incoming phone calls, greeting customers, processing birth and death certificates, scheduling appointments, and other tasks as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

 

Completion of secondary education or equivalent (high school or GED); associates degree or one year related experience and/or training preferred; Must be able to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, telephone, copier, fax machine, etc.). Must also be proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, and PowerPoint).

 

Licenses, Certificates, Registrations:

 

Completion of National Incident Management System (NIMS)/Incident Command System (ICS) 100, 200, 700, 800, and 120a certifications, OPHCS and MARCS training, and registered any applicable web-based systems within six months of appointment. Must maintain a valid Ohio driver’s license and maintain insurability according to the Mercer County policy.
