Ohio Buckles Buckeyes program offers free car seats and education on their proper use

Motor Vehicle Crashes are the #1 cause of death for children and adults, ages 1 to 34 years. Selecting a safe vehicle and properly using child restraints and seatbelts may be the most important things you can do to protect your family. The Mercer County Health District can help WIC and Medicaid-eligible families keep their children traveling safely. We have multiple options to help parents provide the proper seat for their child’s height and weight, along with training on how to use them properly. Visit our Car Seat Program page for more information.
